Who are we?

Cameron Heights is located in downtown Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Our music community's mission is to create inclusive spaces of belonging for everyone to thrive. We use music as the vehicle to create relationships, develop leaders, empower stakeholders to reach their potential, and work together towards social change in our community.

In the 2022-2023 school year, our music program is jumping back into a full extracurricular schedule including concert bands, jazz ensembles, choir, string ensemble, and music council! We are also planning and working toward the return of a variety of previously run groups such as the percussion ensemble, saxophone ensemble, Jazz In The Schools, Circle of Music Choir, a full symphony orchestra, and other specialized groups.
We prioritize connections with professional musicians from the community who partner with our program to run specialist programming like Jazz In The Schools, Percussion Ensemble, and Circle of Music. Community connections play an important role in our program's ability to create unique, innovative, and meaningful experiences for our students. |
